It was a shock to me to hear of your passing and you will be forever in our minds. From the day I arrived in Canberra in December 1981 you were one of the first to befriend me and welcome me to the Central Family. Over the years while both Anne & myself were in Canberra we shared numerous good times. Nights at the old Easts Rugby Club at Manuka after a game of hockey will forever be cherished memories. May you rest in peace and I am forever grateful of your companionship.

Please accept my apologies for not attending Michael's memorial service yesterday. My wife and I are in Queensland. I have just viewed the video of yesterday's wonderful service.
