My heartfelt condolences to the Roarty family. Mike will be so sadly missed. As my dear friend and fellow traveller to golf and tennis events around the world he has left me with such wonderful memories. His sense of humour, good grace and fellowship was unsurpassed. I will miss him deeply. Much love Colin.

I had been both Todd and Scott’s Housemaster many years ago, but it was through tennis that I got to know Mike. We shared a love of Collingwood, so we’re never short of wise, insightful conversation. I will miss his smile, his sense of humour and his friendship.

Mike was such a lovely man. Always interested in what our family was doing. I loved his dry sense of humor. A missed family member . A big loss to you Ann, Todd, Scott and families. xx

I did not know Michael well but really enjoyed playing golf with him - normally on Mondays. He was full of fun, constantly tweeking his golf swing , and generous with his thoughts on my own feeble efforts. We will all miss him
